What are the CCB, CCR and CRNThe CCB (Child Care Benefit) helps with daily cost of child care; Alternatively, you can choose to pay full fees and claim your CCB as a lump sum after the end of the financial year. The CCR (Child Care Rebate) assists parents or guardians with out-of-pocket expenses for approved child care if you are working, training or studying. Out of pocket expenses are total child care fees less Child Care Benefit. Child Care Rebate covers 50% of out of pocket expenses, up to a maximum of $7,778 per child for the 2009/10 financial year; The CRN (Customer Reference Number) is the number at the top of all correspondence with Centrelink. Contact Centrelink if you are unsure. N.B. You must provide these details to the child care provider so that the daily rate can be worked out based on the differing percentages. Payment: How do I pay for my child's vacancyPayment for a vacancy is done in three (3) easy steps. a. Firstly, Last Minute Childcare will direct you to an external PayPal site where a non-refundable booking fee of AUD $10 will be paid. Upon payment, a confirmation email will be sent to you as well as the chosen provider. b. Secondly, the final payment will be made in consultation with the child care centre. c. Centres should be contacted first to find out preferred payment method. Things to take to your chosen centreIt's important to make your child's day as comfortable as possible.
